Markleville Ca, Oct. 6, 2016 – The Apline Aspen Fall Festival is set to kick off this weekend as the fall colors peak in the Central Sierra. Two full days of festival events on October 8-9, 2016. Music, exhibitors, and speakers run from 10am to 4pm. We took a drive up to Hope Valley and Red Fish Lake last weekend and the colors around Sorensons were already peaking, however about half the forest had not changed colors yet, so this should be a great weekend at the festival with the cold weather we have had the last week.
