While you’re there, fish in one of the thousand lakes and reservoirs in the Sierra. There are all kinds of trout from Rainbow to Brooke and Cutthroat and even Kokanee Salmon. Renowned fishing lakes include:

Lake Fork is less than 90 miles east of Dallas, one of the country’s fastest growing and most exciting cities. It’s an excellent metro to catch a ball game, see a concert, or visit an amusement or water park!

Every August, the city hosts the White Marlin Open, where anglers flock from all over to catch the biggest marlin in the ocean! Other plentiful saltwater fish in the Ocean City waters include Mahi, bigeye tuna, blue marlin—and even sharks!
