Effective Thursday, November 19, 2020 Woodward Tahoe will be Closed
We has continued to monitor the ongoing COVID-19 public health crisis and in collaboration with local Nevada County and state health officials, are suspending our operations at Woodward Tahoe in accordance with the county’s new risk level, which the state elevated to purple tier as of November 16, 2020. Woodward closed for now and, while we cannot underestimate the fluidity of the current situation both locally, and nationwide, our goal is to reopen when we’re able.Â
Boreal Mountain California and Soda Springs Mountain Resort will be moving forward with outdoor winter skiing and snowboarding operations as planned, on November 23 and 27 respectively. We will continue to monitor this dynamic situation with COVID-19 and make operational adjustments at both resorts as necessary. We will provide an update should this change.
We realize this decision will surely be disappointing to many, however we remain committed to partnering with our community to do everything we can to help slow the spread of COVID-19. The dedication that our team and guests have shown since our reopening in July to support this effort is more than clear. For that, we thank you. During this time of suspended operations, we encourage everyone to continue to do their part to wear a mask and enable social distancing.
Please stay safe so we can return soon to bouncing through The Bunker, skating the concrete, and sending it into the foam pits. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
