Diamond Peak offers Incline Village students a free season pass for straight A’s
Incline Village NV, December 2016 – Diamond Peak Ski Resort and the Incline Village General Improvement District (IVGID) will again reward Incline Village students for academic success with its 2017 Stellar Students Ski Free Program. Students enrolled through grade 12 in Incline Village schools, including the Lake Tahoe School, can receive a free 2016-17 Diamond Peak season pass in exchange for their January 2017 report card with straight A’s. The offer also extends to children with an IVGID Picture Pass who attend schools outside Incline Village.
To claim the complimentary season pass, students simply present the original straight A’s report card from the first semester, ending January 2017, at Diamond Peak’s Guest Services. Students must redeem this offer by the end of February 2017. Students who have already purchased season passes will receive a full refund.
Incline Elementary students attending Kindergarten through 2nd grade who use a different grading system must receive an S+ in all their Core Subjects. Incline Elementary will provide a list of these qualifying students to Guest Services. Lake Tahoe School (LTS) also uses a different grading system for Kindergarten through 3rd grade and they will compile a list of students who qualify from the 2nd Trimester mid-trimester grades, released the last week of January. The Tahoe Expedition Academy will also provide a list of qualifying students from their February 2nd reports.
Diamond Peak’s Stellar Students Program is designed to recognize the importance of academic success and reward the hard work and dedication of students in the local community. In addition, IVGID hopes to encourage students to apply that dedication outside of the classroom to achieve similar goals on the mountain and elsewhere.
