National Park Service Anniversary Saturday August 25th in sierra National Parks
Looking for one last Summer adventure with the kids back in school and before the sports schedules go into overdrive? National Parks service will be celebrating their 103rd birthday this weekend with Free entrance days to all National Parks on Saturday August 25th, 2019.
Although the crowds are often large on these free days, saving $30 to enter the park is often a gift for many families and there are still plenty of ways to beat the crowds and traffic and most of our Sierra National Parks.
Yosemite, Lassen, Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks will all honor the celebration this weekend with Ranger lead events. Bring the cameras, pack a lunch get off the main stream path and discover more from your local National Parks.
Traveling to our National Parks on these free weekend days you can expect traffic delays at the gates and at most of the popular destinations. Plan to arrive early for parking and enjoy your day in the parks.
