Kings Creek Falls – Lassen Volcanic National Park

Located South of Summit Lake approx 13 miles from the SW entrance of Lassen Volcanic National Park is one of the most visited Day hike Trails in the park to Kings Creek Falls.

This hike is rated moderate only because at the end the trail it drops steeply to the waterfall and climbing back out is a bit strenuous for some. But at 3 miles round trip this trail packs a ton of what makes hiking so much fun.

The trial is filled with creek views, meadows, vista overlooks and of course a very picturesque 40 ft waterfall that beacons visitors down a fairly sketch section to the base of the falls.

Kings Falls features elevation change of roughly 490 feet from the trailhead to the waterfall and with its 40-foot waterfall at the end this is a great little day hike to add to other adventures in the park such as Lassen Peak or Bumpass Hell hikes.
