“We are extremely excited to once again host the Red Bull Rahlves Banzai Race. This year marks the 6th year in a row with a Kirkwood Banzai stop. We are very excited with this years venue returning to the top of the Wall with our famous waterfall start…imagine dropping 25′ – 30′ out of the start before your first turn even starts? Then follow that up with another 2 minutes of intense turns, jumps and natural features all the way down Snow Snake gully ending near the base of the mountain; all the while competing side by side with fellow racers vying for first position.”
Both Kirkwood Ski Patrol and the Kirkwood Ski Team will be working diligently to provide the athletes with a first class event. The Kirkwood Ski team in it’s 30th season at Kirkwood always enjoy’s this extreme event. Hope to see you in the race.”
