Reno NV – December 10, 2021 – The small Snow storm this Thursday in Lake Tahoe and most of the Sierra has made Skiing possible all around the Sierra. MT. Rose will kick things off today with skiing on a fresh 10″ base.
Visitors for the weekend should be aware that Mt. Rose will be making snow in all possible windows so expect blowing snow. And beginner terrain will not be available.
One Traffic alert as well. Saturday and Sunday Mt. Rose is only accessible via Incline Village. The Road up form Ren0 (SR431) will be closed for road work.
Opening Today
Lift: Northwest Express 9:00am – 4:00pm
Trails: Upper Northwest down through Kit Carson Bowl.
PLEASE NOTE: Beginner terrain will not be available.
The Wizard Lift serving beginner terrain is expected to open soon.
Season Pass Holders: Please be sure to fill out your Season Pass Waiver Online prior to arrival.
SNOWMAKING will be taking place on the mountain – Expect blowing snow.
