Additional REC opportunities:
If you are unfamiliar with Kings Beach and North Lake Tahoe, Kings beach is also a great beach to play all day in Lake Tahoe. The sand bar is a little shallower here which is great for kids to play in, but also the waves later in the day tend to get a bit larger and are a Sierra Rec favorite for family fun with our kids. There are several local rental shops around beach renting out water crafts, boards etc to play on the water. Â The Friday Free Concert Series gives visitors and locals another great opportunity to spend all day and evening at Lake Tahoe.
There is a paid parking available at Kings Beach.
