The Rahlves Banzai Tour now in its fifth season, takes place at three Lake Tahoe, CA resorts featuring its head to head action, four at a time – top to bottom, down a wide open course over natural terrain and snow conditions.
This last weekend, the open to the Banzai Tour took place at Alpine Meadows ski resort. Met with a new weather system that brought a dusting of new snow and high winds that delayed the finals a bit, but as the title of the event might suggest,(Banzai!) the skiers and boarders, both locals and professionals, challenged each other down the course set up on Alpine.

This is one of the most exciting weekends of the entire season at Kirkwood. There are many excellent spots for spectating including on The Wall, at the Alaska Airlines Flight Deck and at the finish line located at the end of Snow Snake Gully.
