The Best Athletes in the Game Compete for their Spot on Team USA at PyeongChang 2
Mammouth Ca, January 11, 2018 – The World will be watching next week in Mammoth as the USA Best Compete for there spot on Team USA. The best of the best skiers and snowboarders will compete in Unbound’s Main Park and 22′ halfpipe for in the final slopestyle and halfpipe qualifying events on the ride to PyeongChang. For the first time ever, check out this nationally televised contest at night under the lights at Main Lodge at Mammoth Mountain.
Keep an eye out for runs from Mammoth riders Kelly Clark, Chloe Kim, Greg Bretz, Brandon Davis, Judd Henkes, Brock Crouch, Maddie Mastro and more.
Mammoth has been blessed in the Sierra this season with the best snow base in the West and after this weekends weather is looking to be in great shape for next weeks event.
Mammoth Mountain is the final stop for athlete’s on their journey to Pyeongchang in February. The tricks and runs showcased by athletes will be top notch, with some of the best riding ever seen on our home turf. The skiers and riders representing Team USA will be announced at Mammoth during a celebratory evening event with fireworks and music at Main Lodge. This is the first time Mammoth has hosted a halfpipe event at night, and the competition will definitely heat up the evening.

Team USA Naming | Jan 20 & 21
Be a part of history. Watch with excitement as Mammoth and the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association proudly announce the athletes representing Team USA in Pyeongchang in February. On Saturday night we’ll celebrate the men’s and women’s snowboard slopestyle and halfpipe teams, along with the men’s and women’s freeski halfpipe team. On Sunday, after the the final competition, the men’s freeski slopestyle team will be recognized. Learn More

Post–halfpipe contest on Saturday, Jan 20, we’ll turn up the night with FREE fireworks and music on–snow at Main Lodge to celebrate Team USA and send the them on their way to Korea. Don’t miss this first-ever night event at 8:30PM.
