Volcom's Peanut Butter & Rail Jam visits Mammoth Jan 24th

Mammoth Ca – Are your snowboarding skills ready to be discovered?
Well you might want to check out the Peanut butter & Rail Jam at Mammoth Mountain this weekend. Or if you just like to see some of the best snowboarding around this is a great spectator event to check out in The sierra this weekend.
Over the course of 2015 Volcom’s Peanut Butter & Rail Jam (PBRJ) contest series will travel North America to find the very best in amateur snowboarding talent. The 15 year strong series will qualify the top 5 competitors in each of its four divisions to compete in the $15,000 PBRJ Global Championships on our Mammoth turf on April 18.
The Event is scheduled for Saturday January 24th, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Lower Main Park.
Three park features dug in side-by-side to create a “rail zone” for the riders to hit as many times as they like within their twenty minute set. During the PBRJ event, competitors are judged on the tricks they land, not on their bails, on the separate rail/box features.
Competitors will ride for tons of prizes, cash, invites to the global event, and the prestige of top honors against their peers.
There are 4 divisions: 15 & Under, 16 – 21, Girls, and Open/AM that are sure to keep everyone on the edge of their seats from beginning to end.
Free food, free drinks, and giveaways will be provided for competitors and spectators a like.
