Do you enjoy camping and meeting new people? Would you like to spend the summer enjoying the great outdoors? The Lassen National Forest is looking for volunteers to be seasonal campground hosts. Campground hosts are volunteer staff who receive free camping and, as available, hook-ups at one of the forest’s campgrounds in exchange for welcoming campers and helping them to enjoy their visit. Additionally hosts also perform light maintenance duties such as picking up litter, painting picnic tables and a variety of easy tasks.
Typical Campground hosts work 20-30 week 5 days on with two consecutive days off. Need your own RV trailer.
Campground host opportunities are available on the Almanor, Eagle Lake, and Hat Creek Ranger Districts.
