Inaugural Carson Valley 5K Trail Run & 2K Fun Run

Join the Carson Valley Trails Association (CVTA) for the inaugural Run the Valley 5K Trail Run and free 2K Family Fun Run on Saturday, October 19, 2024! This exciting event invites runners of all levels to experience the beautiful James Lee Loops trails in Indian Hills, just south of Carson City.

The 5K trail run offers a scenic, slightly longer 3.5-mile loop with mild elevation gain and stunning views of Carson Valley. Perfect for beginners and experienced runners alike, the non-competitive environment makes it fun for everyone. The 2K Family Fun Run is a great opportunity to introduce children to trail running, with off-road strollers and dogs on leashes welcome.

Kids under 12 can run either the 5K or 2K for free and receive a finisher’s medal! Register today and enjoy a wonderful day outdoors with your family.
