The Sierra Nevada stretches over 500 miles between California and Nevada. Most visitors break the Sierra into Regions to help them better plan for hiking and backpacking trips. No matter which region you chose there are hundreds of trails and destinations to hike. Some trails are easy while many require stamina and effort to reach, but we don’t know of any that are not going to deliver a fantastic day on the mountain.
On this page you will find a collection of Hikes we have done and reviewed, News on trails and efforts for trail improvements and Stories we have written about destinations that are hike able for your next mountain vacation. We break the Sierra into the following 7 regions: Lake Tahoe Region, Yosemite Region. Eastern Sierra, Central Sierra, Northern Sierra, Western Sierra and Southern Sierra. We hope this helps scope out your next discovery in the Sierra.
