Fallen Leaf Lake Campground to Open May 12th with Limited Access
Lake Tahoe, May 3, 2017 – Forest Service campgrounds in the Lake Tahoe Basin are scheduled to open May 12, 2017. However, campgrounds on the West Shore still have a large amount of snow at lake level, which will delay their opening.
- Meeks Bay Campground will open on May 19, 2017
- Kaspian and William Kent campgrounds will open on June 2, 2017.

In addition, Fallen Leaf Campground will open May 12, but some sites will be closed due to wet conditions.
