Snow is forecasted for much of the Sierra Starting Thursday with a light system moving through quickly, then this weekend another system is approaching that could give the sierra several days of snow accumulation.
There is a lot of hype around this storm now as forecasters are posting up big snowfall maps from the models. There is not agreement on timing and snowfall amounts among the forecast models yet, but there is agreement and consistency that significant snowfall will happen which is building confidence.
