HWY 88 Day Hike and Backpacking Location Near Kirkwood
A short hike from Hwy 88 just West of Silver Lake and the well known pot holes location, sits Shealor lakes. a small bowl shaped lake at the base of a sierra granite slab with tree on one side and open views to the East on the other.
This is an easy hike for most with clear path to the lake and camping areas. another meadow type lake is tucked behind and to the east of the Shealor which also provides camp locations.
