INGREDIENTS

  • 2 oz Two Bitch™ Bourbon
  • 1 oz to 1.5 oz cranberry rosemary simple syrup
  • 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • ginger beer or ginger-ale topper

DIRECTIONS

  1. To a shaker add ice, Two Bitch™ Bourbon, cranberry rosemary simple syrup, and freshly squeezed lime juice.
  2. Shake to frost and strain into a coupe or rocks glass.
  3. Top with ginger beer or ginger-ale.
  4. Garnish with sugar flocked cranberries and rosemary.

CRANBERRY ROSEMARY SIMPLE SYRUP

Add 1 cup sugar to 1 cup boiling water. Add 1 cup of cranberries and simmer for 10 minutes until cranberries soften and begin to dissolve. Remove from heat and add 1 sprig of fresh rosemary. Let steep for 5 minutes. Strain and cool.

A Festive Feast: Honey Bourbon Pear Puff Pastry

When you’re looking to impress (without spending all day in the kitchen), these Honey Bourbon Pear Puff Pastries are your secret weapon. A golden, flaky crust hugs tender pears infused with bourbon and cinnamon, all caramelized to perfection. Whether served as an appetizer or paired with a neat pour of Two Bitch™ Bourbon for dessert, these beauties are guaranteed to leave your guests swooning.

Hosting Tip: Sprinkle powdered sugar on top right before serving for an extra festive flair.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 oz Two Bitch Bourbon
  • 1  box Frozen Puff Pastry (We used Pepperidge Farm)
  • 3 to 4 fresh pears
  • 1 Tbsp. Cinnamon or Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 4 Tbsps. honey
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Tbsps. cup Heavy Cream
  • Powdered Sugar for sprinkling

DIRECTIONS

  1. Thaw your puff pastry per directions on box (30 to 40 minutes). Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Once thawed, slice your puff pastry into squares approximately 4 x 6 inches.
  3. Slice pears thinly and add to a mixture of bourbon and cinnamon. Let sit while preparing the next step.
  4. Apply a drizzle of honey to the parchment paper approximately 4 x 6 inches in size. Lay out approximately 6 slices of pears on top of honey stacking them gradually. Drizzle with a little more of the bourbon cinnamon mixture. Place puff pastry over the pears and crimp all edges with a fork.
  5. Combine egg and cream. Brush all over the puff pastry to encourage a golden brown crust.
  6. Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes. They will puff up and become golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool at least 10 minutes before flipping over. Use a spatula to carefully flip. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy!
