Water Fall hikes near Reno
The Hunter Creek Trail in Reno is a popular moderate hiking trail featuring a nice 30 foot waterfall at the end of this out and back hike.
This Dog friendly hike has just over 1200 ft of elevation gain but features great outdoor mixture of dessert, aspens, forest and water on the hike.
The trail is well-marked and good for the whole family.
Trailhead is located on the West side of Reno off Plateau Rd and Woodchuck Circle. At the trailhead visitors will find a parking area and restrooms. Make sure to bring sunscreen and enough water on a hot day.
