The Inyo National Forest will close Rock Creek Road from the Rock Creek Pack Station to the Mosquito Flat Trailhead from Monday, Oct. 19 through Friday, Oct. 23 for road maintenance work to improve public safety.
During the closure, there will be no vehicle access to Mosquito Flat Trailhead. Hikers can still use the trail alongside the road to reach the trailhead on foot, but should be aware of heavy machinery at work in the area.
