We know our followers have been patiently waiting for more information on the direction this year's ride. Like you, we have been looking forward to the 40th Anniversary with great optimism. Not only is it a coveted challenge and achievement for cyclists, it is a long-standing tradition for our community and vital to our outdoor recreation economy. However, the COVID-19 crisis has hit our event, like so many others, with huge challenges. While it has become clear that we cannot hold the event this July, we have rescheduled the 40th Anniversary celebration and ride for July 2021. All participants have been notified via email, and those registrations will secure your place in the 2021 event. We hope that the 2021 Resurgence Tour will bring each and every one of you back to our home in Alpine County, Calif. next summer. We anticipate a lot of questions about deferrals, rider transfers, and more. Please direct these to info@deathride.com as we work through each question individually. As an organization, we are taking a hit very much like many of you. All contributions and registrations this year help us ensure that we can continue working toward a successful event. We truly value our cyclists and loyal supporters, and our goal is to get through this together, and offer this cycling experience for years to come. Keep pedaling! https://deathride.com/wp-content/uploads/Death-Ride-Update_040720.pdf
