Hot August Nights® Revs Up with More Cars, New Venues, Expanded Offerings, Added Top Entertainment
Reno Nevada, June 28, 2024 – Gearheads, music lovers, and nostalgia buffs, rejoice! Hot August Nights®, the nation’s largest free classic car show, is roaring back to Reno, Nevada for 10 glorious days this summer, from August 2nd to 11th, 2024.
This year’s event promises to be even bigger and better than ever before, with more cars, new venues, exciting entertainment options, and something for everyone to enjoy. Here’s a sneak peek at what awaits:
- A sea of classic cars: Get ready to be dazzled by nearly 6,000 registered classic vehicles, all 1979 or older, cruising the streets of Reno-Sparks.
- New venues, new experiences: The event expands to encompass 10 venues, including the historic Virginia City and the all-new J Resort, offering a wider variety of experiences for attendees.
- Double the nightly entertainment: Groove to the tunes of legendary artists like WAR, Hotel California, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and Blood Sweat & Tears at the Nugget Events Center and the Grand Sierra Resort.
- A showcase for the finest: Step inside the Big Boy’s Toy Store’s Indoor Classic Showcase, featuring some of the most elite and award-winning classic cars in the nation.
- Calling all car enthusiasts: Unleash your inner mechanic! The new Youth Automotive Challenge invites young car enthusiasts to showcase their passion and compete for scholarships and prizes.
- Shop ’til you drop: Find that rare car part or a unique collectible at the massive Swap Meet and Outdoor Car Corral at the J Resort.
- The grand finale: Don’t miss the excitement of the Grand Finale, where car owners vie for top honors, scholarship recipients are announced, and the 2024 HAN Event Series champions are crowned.
