🎶 July 12 – August 10, 2025 | Incline Village, NV
If you’ve never experienced the fusion of fine music and alpine serenity, this is your year.
Classical Tahoe returns for its 14th season, inviting visitors and locals alike to soak up the summer sounds of orchestral, jazz, and chamber music under the pine-scented skies of North Lake Tahoe. From July 12 to August 10, music lovers can enjoy 16 inspired performances featuring elite musicians from the world’s top orchestras—all nestled in the heart of Tahoe’s natural grandeur.
The main stage? The Ricardi Pavilion at the University of Nevada, Reno at Lake Tahoe—an intimate, open-air venue that brings every note closer to the trees and stars. But you’ll also find events sprinkled around Incline Village, creating an immersive music experience that harmonizes beautifully with the Lake Tahoe vibe.

🎷 Opening Weekend: Brubeck Jazz Summit
Classical Tahoe kicks things off with some serious soul: the Brubeck Jazz Summit (July 13, 17, 18), spotlighting jazz icons Chris and Dan Brubeck with pianist Joe Gilman. Get ready for three nights of legendary groove that will have you tapping your feet beneath the Sierra sky.
✨ A Night of Dance and Dream
In a spectacular collaboration with Lake Tahoe Dance Collective, ballet takes the stage alongside the orchestra. Expect works by Balanchine, Wheeldon, and Tchaikovsky—plus a world premiere by choreographer Holly Curran—featuring principal dancers from New York City Ballet and Boston Ballet. Yes, it’s as magical as it sounds.
🎻 Classical Highlights & New Faces
Throughout the month, Classical Tahoe will showcase symphonic masterpieces like:
- Beethoven’s “Eroica” Symphony
- Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 4 “Italian”
- Dvořák’s Symphony No. 7
- And Tchaikovsky’s dramatic Symphony No. 5 as a grand finale.

New to the lineup this year are several festival debuts:
- Orli Shaham takes on Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5 (July 25)
- Francesca Dego brings Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto to life (Aug. 1)
- Sharleen Joynt wows with opera arias from Mozart and Verdi (Aug. 8)
And for those who love the details, Classical Tahoe continues to highlight its extraordinary musicians—like Daniel Gilbert’s performance of Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto and Érik Gratton’s take on Nielsen’s Flute Concerto.
🎉 Family Fun & Community Vibes
Mark your calendars for July 9: The Annual Family Concert & Music Maker’s Faire invites kids (and the young-at-heart) to explore instruments, meet musicians, and discover the joy of sound. There’s even an alphorn ensemble to round out the fun. Bonus: this is a great way to introduce little ones to the magic of live music in a low-key, friendly setting.
And on July 12, the Classical Tahoe Gala returns—an elegant evening of jazz, classical, and community spirit, all in support of education and outreach programs nurturing the next generation of Tahoe talent.
