March in the Sierra Nevada has finally delivered a true winter revival, bringing fresh snowfall across the region and setting up prime conditions for skiers, snowboarders, and snow-play enthusiasts. Over the past two days, the Sierra received between two to three feet of fresh powder, transforming ski resorts from China Peak in the south to the Lake Tahoe and Truckee regions in the north into winter wonderlands. And the snow isn’t stopping anytime soon—according to the National Weather Service, another round of storms is expected over the next ten days, bringing additional snowfall and solidifying March as a return to a normal winter cycle in the Sierra.
