Lake Tahoe has a new team to cheer for—the Tahoe Knight Monsters! As the proud ECHL affiliate of the Vegas Golden Knights and Henderson Silver Knights, this exciting addition to the local sports scene promises to be the ultimate family-friendly event destination. With their inaugural game set for October 24th, the Knight Monsters are ready to take the ice at the Tahoe Blue Event Center, and the community is buzzing with anticipation.
The Knight Monsters are offering an incredible lineup of themed events and promotional nights that will entertain fans of all ages. From Glow Rod giveaways and costume contests to interactive nights like Wizards Knight and Star Wars Knight, there’s something for everyone. The season kicks off with Opening Knight on October 24th, featuring the first-ever game in franchise history against the Jacksonville Icemen, where fans will receive glow rods courtesy of Grey Kole Construction to light up the arena and celebrate the start of a new era in Tahoe hockey.
For families, Halloween will be a can’t-miss Monster Mash Knight on October 31st, where kids can trick-or-treat in costume during the game, making it an unforgettable night of fun on and off the ice.
Throughout the season, themed events like Teddy Bear Toss on December 14th, Military Appreciation Weekend in January, and Pucks & Paws Night in March will create special memories for everyone. Whether you’re a longtime hockey fan or new to the sport, the Knight Monsters’ games promise to bring joy and excitement to the Lake Tahoe region.
