Sierra Nevada – New Years day in the Sierra has become something of an annual tradition for me the past 10 years. But as we looked into 2024 a few weeks ago , i was torn as to where to go with so little snow in the Sierra Nevada. So we decided to take a different approach to a common adventure to Calaveras Big tree State Park in Calaveras County off Highway 4 (Ebbetts Pass)
