Adventure Van Expo Rolls Into The Village at Palisades Tahoe

For two days this September, The Village at Palisades Tahoe transforms into a hub for the van life and overlanding community as the Adventure Van Expo returns September 20–21, 2025.

This family-friendly weekend is open to all ages and showcases some of the most innovative custom van builds and overland products on the market. Wander through rows of vans on display in the Village parking lot and connect with vendors offering everything from roof racks and solar panels to bedding, storage solutions, 4×4 recovery gear, and all the lifestyle essentials that make life on the road possible.

Alongside the van showcases, guests can enjoy live music, food, and local brews all weekend long.

DIY Van Build Contest

On Saturday, the spotlight turns to the DIY crowd. Custom van builders are invited to enter their rigs in the DIY Contest, where expert judges—and curious crowds—will weigh in on categories such as:

• Best Layout

It’s a chance for van lifers to show off their ingenuity and inspire others who dream of building their own adventure rig.
