Douglas County Rodeo Rides Back Into Gardnerville This September
The grit, tradition, and thrill of rodeo are set to return to Carson Valley as the Douglas County Rodeo celebrates its 5th year on September 5–6, 2025 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Gardnerville.
This two-day event is more than just a rodeo—it’s a community celebration. Guests can expect:
-
High-energy rodeo action: bronc riding, bull riding, barrel racing, roping, and more.
-
Live concerts each evening: nationally known country artists take the stage following the arena excitement.
-
Family-friendly fun: children’s activities, mutton bustin’, bounce houses, and rodeo-style entertainment for all ages.
-
Vendors & food trucks: from local artisans to hearty western eats, the fairgrounds will be buzzing with shopping and flavor.
Now in its fifth year, the Douglas County Rodeo has become a signature end-of-summer tradition in Carson Valley. Last year’s rodeo drew record crowds, and organizers are promising even more excitement in 2025—including live music, a vendor village, and community showcases.
Tickets: General Admission tickets will be available soon at the Douglas County Rodeo official website with updates also posted on their Facebook page.
Don’t miss your chance to experience the dust, the lights, and the true western spirit of Carson Valley this September.
