The Friends of Plumas Wilderness Need Your Help!

Calling all nature lovers!

The Friends of Plumas Wilderness , along with Lost Sierra Fly Guide, needs your help to remove coal from the beautiful Middle Fork Feather River.

Here’s the story: Back in February, a train derailment spilled coal into this iconic river, designated “Wild and Scenic” for its outstanding beauty and ecological value. Local fly-fishing guide Matt McCourtney recently noticed the coal washing ashore and decided to take action with the Friends of Plumas Wilderness.
