Better Late than Never Lassen Prepping for Late Winter Storm Dump.

Lassen Volcanic National Park – April 13, 2022 – Two weeks ago the roadways were well on their way to being snow free in Lassen Volcanic National Park . With limited snowfall the park services had already cleared over 1.5 miles of roadway past both park entrances and an early spring opening was expected for the entire road way. However this weeks storm totals are looking to add an extra layer to the winter fun in Lassen. with some forecast models calling for upward of 6 feet of snow by Saturday April 16 in the national park.

Dust of the snow shows and skis for a few more weeks of winter fun in Lassen Volcanic National Park. This coming weekend will probably bring Avalanche possibilities so make certain to check for danger warnings before heading out.
