This legendary race series, which has been on hiatus for several years, is returning with a fresh lineup of themed race nights, friendly competition, and an unbeatable après atmosphere. If you’re looking for a way to make the most of your spring evenings on the slopes, this is it!
What to Expect
Starting March 5, 2025, the Palisades Tahoe Town Race League Series will take over the slopes every Wednesday night through April 9. This event is designed for skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels who want to have fun while testing their speed in a friendly alpine race setting. Plus, each week brings a new theme—so get ready to dress up and show off your style on the mountain!
Town Race League is all about camaraderie, good times, and a bit of friendly rivalry. Whether you’re reliving your ski racing glory days or just looking for a fun evening on the slopes, this series has something for everyone.
Race Series Schedule & Themes:
📅 March 5 – Mardi Gras Theme (Break out the beads and bright colors!)
📅 March 12 – Retro Theme (Channel your inner ‘80s ski legend.)
📅 March 19 – Palisades Pros Theme (Dress like your favorite ski racer.)
📅 March 26 – Tight & Bright Theme (Neon spandex, anyone?)
📅 April 2 – Tiki Theme (Because who doesn’t love tropical vibes in the snow?)
📅 April 9 – Denim on Denim Theme (Double denim, double the fun!)
Race Details
📍 Check-In: Base of the Exhibition Lift (1:00 PM – 3:30 PM)
🏁 Race Start: 3:00 PM
⛷️ Race Format: Two timed runs per racer
🎟️ Lift Access: Ikon Pass holders or discounted lift tickets (available from 2:30 PM at the ticket office)
👥 Eligibility: Racers must be 18+ years old
💰 Race Fee: $25
