Barrelhouse Sessions Launch July 25 with Moondog Matinee Headlining
The Barrelhouse makes its debut on Thursday, July 25 with the first installment of its “Barrelhouse Sessions,” a curated live music series that kicks off with a powerhouse local lineup. Reno rockers Moondog Matinee will headline the evening, bringing their soulful, high-energy sound to a venue designed to amplify Reno’s creative voice.
The night opens with a set from Rigorous Proof, a post-modern alt-rock group with a loyal following, and closes with a high-energy DJ afterparty featuring Ivan the Terrible. Doors open at 7 p.m., with music starting at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $25 (early bird pricing) or $35 starting July 21, and are available now through Eventbrite. This is a 21+ event.

True to its name, The Barrelhouse is lined with oak barrels and infused with the spirit of the Switch Yard’s historic roots. Inside, you’ll find craft brews from The Depot, Parlay 6 Brewing, and Battle Born Beer, along with cocktails made from The Depot’s own house-distilled spirits.
